"The city where dreams come true"
I don't really know what to answer when friends are asking me, Why Barcelona? The climate, the culture, the people, the restaurants, the area, the way of living, the ambient, the architecture, the parks, the concerts, the prices, the girls, the sea, the mountains, the bars, the expositions, the shops, the museums, the streets, the weather, the sports....
...eh... yes... I guess something like that... I just enjoy being here.
 
I am not going tell you a thousand things about this marvelous city, because you need to be here and experience it get the idea. Take it easy when you are here, there are so much to see and do that you wouldn't manage to do it all even if you stayed here for 6 months. There are some good sources on the net about Barcelona, and I suggest you visit some of them to get more information. Unfortunately, a lot of pages are in Spanish and/or Catalan and the English pages are "under construction" (as they have been the last three years...)

Only one suggestion, if you are looking for a complete vacation, heat, sea, mountains, metropol , shopping, sports and excellent food you got it all here.
